Find answers to questions

This library can find answers to many of your questions. Whether it is for homework, to settle a bet or just because you want to know, the library has trained staff to help you.

Come to a librarian with your questions and we will do our best to help you.  If we are unable to assist you in finding the answers, we will try to refer you to helpful resources.

During library hours, you may call or stop by the circulation desk with your questions.  You can e-mail us 24 hours/day, or fill out an Ask A Librarian form.

Because we try to help as many people as possible, we may not be able to get to your question right away.  Please be patient with us.  If time has passed and you haven't heard anything, call or stop by the library to make sure we have received your inquiry and to check its status.

  • Our Do Research section of our web site has many resources available for you to explore.  Perhaps the answer to your question is there.
This resource is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by State Library of Iowa.
