Open Access

Use libraries in other towns

We participate in a statewide program called Open Access.  Through Open Access, users of our Library can check out materials from other Open Access libraries.  Currently there are over 600 libraries in Iowa participating in Open Access.

Therefore, whatever town you work in, shop in, or visit, ask their library if they participate in Open Access.  Chances are they do!  Then you can check out materials from their library.  As an added benefit, you can return materials at any Open Access library and they will mail them back to the library you checked them out from.

This resource is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by State Library of Iowa.
