Borrow from another library

Our library is connected to other libraries throughout the state. If you can't find an item in this library, ask library staff to help you get it from another library.

To make an InterLibrary Loan request, stop by the main circulation desk and fill out an InterLibrary Loan request form.  Requests can also be made by phone or e-mail.  Be ready to provide your own contact information and as much information as possible about the material you are requesting - title, author, subject, publisher, ISBN, etc.  Library staff will then attempt to locate the material and have it sent to our Library.

When the material has been received by our Library we will contact you.  When picking up the material, you will be given a due date when the material needs to be returned to our Library so we can send it back to the lending Library.  Materials are normally loaned for a month, which includes time to ship the material to our Library and time for us to ship materials back.

InterLibrary Loan is a wonderful service that expands the public's access to materials.  Whether you want information on a unique topic or just want a book that we don't have at our Library, try InterLibrary Loan.

Due to staff time and postage fees of providing this service, there is a fee of $1.50 for each item received through InterLibrary Loan.
