Use a Computer

The library has computers for the public. This describes what we have and how to use them.

Internet Computers
The Library offers public access to 6 computers on the main floor.  To use these computers, time must be checked out at the circulation desk with a Library card, similar to checking out other Library materials.  If you are a visitor, you may checkout time on one of our visitor's cards.  These computers are PCs with high-speed Internet access and Microsoft Office.  Printing can be performed in black and white (25 cents/page) and in color ($1.00/page) from all 6 computers.  To use any of these computers, our Internet Policy must be signed.  A signature of a parent or legal guardian is required for patrons under the age of 18.  No computer usage will be granted for patrons with outstanding fines and/or overdue materials.
  Internet/Office Computers
Children's Computers
The public also has access to 3 computers downstairs in the Children's Department.  To use these computers, children must checkout time at the circulation desk with a Library card.  Children visiting the community may checkout time on one of our visitor's cards.  Two of these computers are iMacs containing fun and educational games for kids.  The third computer is a PC with games and Microsoft Office.  Printing is available from the PC (25 cents/page for black and white, and $1.00/page for color).  These computers do not have Internet access enabled.  No computer usage will be granted for patrons with outstanding fines and/or overdue materials.
  Children's Room Computers
Catalog Computers
There are 3 computers in the library for patrons to use to search the library's automated catalog of materials.  Two of these computers are near the circulation desk upstairs in the library and the third computer is downstairs in the Children's Room.  These computers are available for anyone to use and do not have Internet access enabled.
