Materials available for checkout
Thousands of materials for adults are available for loan.  On the southwest side of the main floor are fiction books grouped in the following genres: mystery, western, sci-fi, paperback romance, and general fiction.  Within these groupings, books in series and inspirational titles are marked.  Nonfiction books can be found on the northwest side of the main floor.  Within this section, biographies, Iowa authors, Iowa nonfiction, caregiver materials, and Christmas books are grouped.  New fiction and nonfiction books, book club books, and staff picks are on display.  The Library also offers a wide variety of books on cassette, books on CD, large print books, nonfiction and popular videos and DVDs, and music CDs.

Magazines and newspapers
The Reading Room, located on the southeast side of the main floor, offers magazines from over 80 different print subscriptions as well as local, regional, and national newspapers.  New issues are available for browsing.  Back issues of magazines and newspapers may be checked out once the newest issue is received and processed. 

Computers
The library has 6 Internet/Microsoft Office computers for the public.  For more information on using a computer, click here.

Genealogy resources
The library has a genealogy room containing both genealogical and historical information from Delaware County and beyond.  Materials in the room are maintained by the Delaware County Genealogical Society.  For more information on using this resource, click here.

Book club
Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, a book club is offered for adult readers.  The club meets once per month, usually on the fourth Mondays at 6:30 p.m. in the Iowa Room.  For more information on the book club, please visit our book club page
